It’s a bit sad. On the one hand, it’s old, old tech. I remember the Enterprise going up when I was a kid, and I am not young. It’s time to retire it.
On the other, there’s no shiny scramjet spaceplane to replace it. I lament the loss, because it feels like a step backward. Sigh.
